IR LEDs Not Turning On

A customer writes:

"I also had trouble with the IR on the cameras, this would not turn on and so we could not record during the dark cycle. I am planning to record again for 48hours next week (Wed-Friday) and see if I can iron out this IR lamp issue, however if I cannot sort it out could we possibly arrange a video call to discuss late next week/early the following week?"

In a Videoarchiver 32 screen shot we read,

"Scheduled task infrared_on with schedule "0 20 28 10 6" intensity 3 and step interval 10 s."

Dear Kate,

The IRLEDs don't turn on much with "intensity 3". Please try "intensity 15". First, use the menu buttons in the Videoarchiver's main window to turn on and off the IRLEDs and make sure you can see a difference in your camera view. One camera should be able to see another camera's IRLEDs. You might be able to see them dimly with your phone camera too. Once you confirm they are going on and off, try the scheduler with "intensity 15". Please let us know how it goes.
