The copyright policy for services provided by OSI will vary depending on the details of the service agreement, and will be negotiated between OSI and the customer.
While our own work is open source, we do offer a propriety option for our consulting and design services, which allows the customer to own the rights to the product we provide to them.
We also offer an open source option for all of our services, where the product remains open source, at a discounted price for the customer.
Our software, firmware, drawings, schematics, and manuals are free, and carry absolutely no warranty. Our hardware carries a warranty of five years against defect and malfunction, with the exception of implantable devices, which carry a warranty of one year against defect and corrosion. The warranty on services provided by OSI vary and are contingent on the details of the service agreement. A warranty agreement will be negotiated between OSI and the customer.
